The Edna Experiments
In 2008 I found a set of diaries at a flea market recording the life of a women named Edna. The diaries record meticulous details of her daily life but absolutely no emotion. She used the diaries to edit her life and what was preserved. Insight into her character is revealed through repetition and accumulation of her actions. I have been using the diaries as source material for videos and drawings.
